Title: |
Technical Support Associate |
Description: |
Solve problems with LAN and workstations, laptops, scanners, connectivity issues, printers, and printing of labels.
Maintain new installs, upgrades, security, software and backups of all files are required.
IBM AS400 system knowledge is a plus.
Assure continuity of the computer system for all system users.
Research software products and applicability to organizational environment.
Install selected software and hardware products.
Repair hardware as necessary and work closely with service vendors to ensure continuity of service.
Be well organized and pay close attention to detail.
Ability to work without supervision. Meets physical demands of the position including the ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds of materials, bend, stoop and stretch as required for placement and retrieval of materials or equipment on shelving.
Working knowledge with EDI, setting up new trading partners and maintain current trading partners with latest EDI versions.
Maintain current site changes through our web site developer.
Working knowledge of Access, Word, & Excel and maintain Internet order system.
Maintain label and internet orders.
Access databases.
Maintain labeling equipment and use software for creating new formats.
Run cable for PCs. |
Requirements: |
Experience is needed with Windows 2003 server and networkds,Windows XP Professional, routers and switches.
IT Technical School training (certificate) or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred. |
